Golfer wanted to overcome the yips

Mat is a 25 year old, pro golfer who plays regularly on the PGA EuroPro and Challenge Tours. He contacted a SportPsychologistOnline.com sport psychologist because he had developed the yips. He was at his wits end. His putting statistics were poor. He was seriously considering giving the game up all together. Mat had suffered with the yips for 6 months prior to working with the SportPsychologyOnline.com sport psychologist. Within five one hour sport psychology sessions Mat had conquered the yips. He worked together with the sport psychologist to develop the mental side of his pre-shot shot putting routine. Together they developed a quality putting program that nurtured Matīs confidence and renewed his belief in his putting.

I used to dread stepping onto the green. Now I love it, I see putting as a challenge!
I used to approach every green, hoping that I could chip to say nine feet away, so that I would not be expected to make the putt, now I approach the green believing in my putting ability.
I would say I am a confident putter now.
